VitaMetis explores a new direction in wearable technology: non-invasive sensing through sweat. We’re developing a small sensor worn on the skin that aims to follow changes in the body—without needles and while you go about your day.
Our concept brings together sweat sensing and intelligent technology, with everyday use in mind. We’re currently building and testing a prototype to bring this idea to life.

What is Vitametis?
The name VitaMetis brings together Vita, representing life, and Metis, symbolizing intelligence and understanding, while also echoing the word metabolism. Together, they reflect our ambition to help people better understand their bodies and metabolic health through technology.
Our goal is to provide meaningful, personalized insights for everyday health, chronic disease management, and athletic performance.

We are a team of passionate students from the University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE), working together on wearable health sensing.
